Tomi Tsunoda is a multi-disciplinary artist. Her projects include internet media, live performance, installation art, music composition, video editing, graphic design, literature, knitting, bookmaking, cooking, and bath & body products. She teaches at NYU’s Playwrights Horizons Theatre School, Vassar College’s Powerhouse Apprentice Program, and was a Program Director and teacher for the Harlem Educational Activities Fund. Tomi is the Creative Director and founder of breedingground productions, where she has helped to developed more than 60 projects since August 2000. She also performs regularly as a singer, actor, and Soundpainter. Tomi lives in Brooklyn with her two cats, her husband, and her husband’s train set.
